The i-Ark Pad M10A is a mobile workstation specifically developed to meet the needs of personnel in law enforcement, election, and border control environment. It runs on Android – the operating system most widely used in the world, and is designed with workflow in mind. The M10A integrates biometric recognition, document reading, and QR code scanning functionalities, along with optional Bluetooth or USB printers, making it suitable for any data collection scenario and enabling mobile office operations.
The i-Ark Pad M10A combines an ICAO9303-compliant reader with contact smart card reading capabilities, allowing it to read eID cards and e-Passport. It also features a standard four-finger fingerprint scanner and optional iris capture functionality. These features significantly enhance office efficiency, reduce the workload and stress of service personnel, and improve interoperability among various functions, making operations simpler and more efficient.
Configuration Components
Fingerprint scanner: IB four-finger fingerprint scanner, integrating flat ten-finger, flat single-finger, and rolled single-finger capture (FBI-certified).
Document reader: MRZ document reading and NFC-enabled document reading.
Contact smart card reader: Supports two ID1-format contact cards for identity verification, authorization, and other applications.
QR code reader: Capable of reading QR code, barcodes, PDF417, and more.
Camera: Dual-camera design (front: 13MP, rear: 13MP) for photo capture, video recording, and document scanning.
Printer (Optional): External Bluetooth or USB printer with print width of 50mm, 80mm, 100mm, or A4.
Iris scanner (Optional): Built-in iris capture module or external iris capture device.
